On December 15th, 2019, Shanghai Shaoxing Week sponsored by Shaoxing Municipal Party Committee and Shaoxing Municipal Government, Shaoxing Municipal Talent Office, Shaoxing Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Shaoxing Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, supported by Shanghai Homevalley and Silicon Valley Innovation Channel Ding ding TV Station. The ‘Wisdom Drives The World, Technology Brings The Future’ summit was successfully held at Kerry Hotel, Pudong, Shanghai.

1 Presentation of ‘City of Prominent Figures’ and Cooperation platform signing

 
Wang Jigang, deputy director of the Standing Committee of Shaoxing Municipal People's Congress and deputy secretary of the party group, delivered an opening speech and presided over the presentation of ‘City of Prominent Figures’ and cooperation platform signing part.
 

 
Xu Xiaoguang, member of the Standing Committee of Shaoxing Municipal Committee and head of the Organization Department, introduced the ‘City of Prominent Figures’ for talent innovation and entrepreneurship. He said: Shaoxing is the hometown of celebrities like Lu You, Cai Yuanpei, Qiu Jin, Lu Xun, Zhou Enlai, Zhu Kezhen, Ma Yinchu, etc. Mao Zedong called it ‘City of Prominent Figures with Jianhu Lake and Yue Tower’.  He used the "Six Reasons to Come to Shaoxing" to send the most sincere invitations to the experts and scholars attending the meeting, key enterprises in Shanghai, well-known investment institutions at home and abroad, and high-level talent representatives: Shaoxing will focus on creating the pleasant talent development ecology to attract all talents and makes the dreams of talents coming to Shaoxing come true.
 
 
After the recommendation speech by Minister Xu Xiaoguang, Ouyang Hua, deputy secretary of the party committee of Shanghai University, reported the results of the comprehensive strategic cooperation between Shaoxing and Shanghai University in science and technology, talents, and industrial platforms.
 

The summit focused on the promotion of a number of talent entrepreneurship and innovation platforms such as the Science and Technology Innovation Corridor, Jinghu Science and Technology City, and Haichuang Park. A total of 3 platform cooperation projects and 8 campus cooperation projects were signed on-site.
 

 
Shaoxing City has also been awarded the title of a member unit of the Yangtze River Delta Talent Alliance, a member of the Yangtze River Delta Regional Technology Market Alliance, and a Shanghai University Shaoxing Collaborative Innovation Center，Shaoxing Integrated Circuit Town was awarded the cooperation unit of the IC Industry Alliance of the G60 Science and Technology Corridor in the Yangtze River Delta.The distance of talent platform exchange and cooperation between Shaoxing and the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration has been close, and the development of talent platform exchange and cooperation between Shaoxing and the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration has been promoted.

In the keynote speech, Pang Zhongying, Dean of the Ocean Development Institute of Ocean University of China, was invited to share "the new globalization and the future of the development of the Yangtze River Delta". He said: In the new Sino-US trade relationship, the common decoupling must be avoided, Sino-US relations must always be better. For getting better, we need to rebuild and make long-term plans.

 
The round table round linking the domestic main venue to the United States Silicon Valley was synchronized. The domestic main venue invited Pang Zhongying, dean of the Ocean Development Institute of Ocean University of China, Zhang Suyang, volcanics venture capital, Xi Rongqing, general manager of Changyang Valley Company, Wang Yingna, president of Ezhiyang Network, and Qiu Jian, Founder of Homevalley, general manager of Shanghai Tencent entrepreneur base , Liming, the Silicon Valley branch invited Ding Weiping, a well-known media person in Silicon Valley, Kris Singh, founder of SRII, and Gregory Fox, general manager of WorkSpan network communication business, to speed up Shaoxing's construction of high-level entrepreneurial innovation platform construction.
 

 
The founder of Homevalley Qiu Jian discussed the topic of ‘advancing the construction of a high-energy entrepreneurial and innovation platform in Shaoxing’ at the round table forum and pointed out Shaoxing governments and leaders at all levels have a forward-looking awareness of Shaoxing’s social and economic development, and have keen insights. Shaoxing has also introduced many good support policies, built various types of industrial parks, and also has high-tech industries such as photo voltaic series, machinery and equipment, new energy projects, etc., which has ensured the economic construction and development of Shaoxing. Shaoxing needs more soft investment of emerging factors such as network data platform in construction, then how to build a soft power to promote the social and economic development of Shaoxing prospectively.

Shaoxing and Shanghai are closely connected, focusing on creating a collaboration zone made by Shanghai; accelerating cultural heritage and innovation, and focusing on becoming the most iconic city in the Yangtze River Delta; accelerating the overall ecological upgrade, and focusing on building Shanghai's back garden.
