On October 16th, 1st Global Digital Economy Startup Contest of Shaoxing China-Chengdu Division was held successfully. A total of 10 projects with the theme of ‘digital economy’ participated in the contest. Let’s review the wonderful contents of the Chengdu division.
Before the start, Director Xie Jing of the Yuecheng District Talents Work Bureau made an opening speech for the contest and expressed her welcome to Shaoxing for tourism, entrepreneurship and settlement. Then, the Yuecheng District People's and Social Security Bureau Chen Jiayi made a talent policy recommendation, introducing the government's planning and implementation of talent policy in detail.
This contest invited Yang Zilong, partner of Heyi Angel Fund and Heyi venture capital fund, Liu Jinbo, the general manager of 1st investment department of Sichuan Entrepreneur Fund, Xiang Zhenshuang ,director of investment of DL Born Capital, Pan Changqing, vice president of Chengdu Gamework and Minshang Huayue Equity Fund Management, Qiu Jian, founder of Shanghai Homevalley and many other masters of well-known enterprises and venture capital investment institutions of the industry to the contest as the jury members.
This contest was the final stage of the series. Players were fighting for the last places for the finals, after 4 hours competition, 4 of the 10 projects entered the finals successfully. The 1st was ‘single photon APD detection chip industrialization’; the 2nd was ‘China self-controllable satellite communication chip, terminal and overall solution ’, and the 3rd were ‘edge artificial intelligence development platform’ team and ‘Indoor Crowd Location Analysis System integrated with Intelligent Device Perception and Advanced Communication’ team, congratulations to them.

Projects Introduction
1st Prize-Single Photon APD Detection Chip Industrialization
The intelligent laser defense system integrated a series of frontier technologies in the fields of radar fast capture, photoelectric intelligent recognition and laser precision strike by the Institute of Optoelectronic Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, so as to realize the integrated intelligent laser defense system for fast capture, tracking, identification and combat of low-altitude targets. The defense system could effectively destroy enemy low-altitude targets such as drones, mortars, rockets, and low-altitude helicopters, and finally meet the demand of the defense.
2nd Place- China Self-controllable Satellite Communication Chip, Terminal and Overall Solution
The development of ground equipments and application systems for satellite communication systems provided autonomous and controllable core equipments and application solutions for the ‘Space-Earth Integration Network’.
The 3rd Prize- Edge Artificial Intelligence Development Platform
The company was an open edge artificial intelligence platform provider offering 120x60x30mm and the world's smallest platform-level product, with 4C2.2G CPU, 4G memory, 32GFlash, the highest 8TOP reasoning power, and 4/5G module inside. The platform supported Caffe, Tensorflow, MxNet, Kaldi, ONNX, and provided a transformation framework supporting seamless transformation of algorithms under the mainstream framework, which could accelerate system development and deployment efficiency. The product was the world's first open artificial intelligence platform, enabling artificial intelligence partners to quickly put their algorithms into practice, providing core computing power for AI solutions.
The 3rd Prize- Indoor Crowd Location Analysis System integrated with Intelligent Device Perception and Advanced Communication
Through the application of various innovative technologies in hardware products and software algorithms so as to make the wireless AP with CSI ranging function could meet each usage requirement. At the same time, it could realize the positioning of complex areas without adding additional hardware devices, and could be widely applied in shopping malls, hospitals, scenic spots and other places.
