On September 17, 2019, The first Global Digital Economy Startup Contest of Shaoxing China-Spain Division with the theme of “Concentrating on innovation, motivating the future” was successfully held in Shaoxing.
This contest was a project roadshow through video connection with the theme of “Digital Economy”. There are 8 projects involved. Although it was played through video connection, we could still feel the intercontinental enthusiasm.
The contest invited Qiu Jian, the founder of Homevalley and Partner of Shenzhen Synergetic Capital; Hong Xiangyu, Partner of Shanghai Longjin Dongshen Investment Fund; Yi Shenshen, Partner of Beijing Beihang Changying Capital; Gu Yu, Management Partner of Temperature Capital; Chen Weizhi, the investment director, and the heads of well-known venture capital institutions, served as judges.

The team was providing data integration and management solutions for businesses. Four main product categories - including ingestion, primarily discovering issues through multiple data sources for data, presenting them in a predefined configuration, aggregating, assimilation, collating and summarizing data received from various sources to eliminate redundancy solutions; relevance, separation and aggregation of data solutions, final release and solutions transforming data sets into actionable insights through discipline analysis and virtualization.
Mov.ai
It was a developing neural network-based platform that primarily for drones, chat bots, robots, and AI-based applications.The platform developed by the company was to manage all information as a human mind. The company claimed to use deep neural networks to create its platform, retrieve data based on the ideas associated with it, making it easier for individuals and workgroups to manage the data without file names or directory paths.
Xpanse AI
It mainly developed a predictive modeling platform based on machine learning algorithms. Its product content included Upsell modeling, churn modeling, cross-sell modeling, insurance claims forecasting, credit default forecasting and Campaign Uplift Modeling.
It allowed companies to predict customer behavior by integrating source data and analyzing consumer patterns, providing insights about collecting data by using machine learning algorithms and verification techniques.
The platform supported ANSI SQL and allowed algorithms to be deployed on existing data with main scope of application: enterprises, developers, multiple industries, including finance, marketing, retail and so on.
Highlights of the contest
Although the competition lasted for only three hours, the contestants' impressive performance, the judge's clear comments, and the enthusiasm of the audience created a unique competition. Among the eight teams, two teams stood out for the finals: the "Navigem" team and the "Mov.ai" team. Congratulations to the two teams and hoped they would get good results in the finals.
