The final of 4th Shanghai Yangpu Star of Startups Global Contest was running lively in Homevalley, Today was the 4th day of the finals, let’s see what projects were on the court with us.
The startup teams were all around the theme of ‘Rehabilitation Medical’. There were 20 teams participating in the competition with dozens of projects. Such as ‘Real-Time Skin Data Platform (Toronto)’, ‘bio conscious (Vancouver)’, and ‘Readmind Tree Hole-professional mental and psychological mutual help platform’ etc. We selected 3 of them to share with you.
Readmind Tree Hole
As the popularity of mental health knowledge in China was much lower than that in developed countries, the demand of psychological stress relieving was in an explosive growth, nevertheless there were few psychological counseling channels. While symptoms of feeling were more obvious and there was a higher rate of morbidity and hospitalization in the females. ‘’Readmind Tree Hole’ was focusing on solving female psychological problems.
So how did this team help the females solve psychological problems?The answer was mainly from 4 aspects, one of the more warm-hearted ones was tree hole confiding, through anonymous confession and social contact, in a lot of forms like text, pictures and voices etc., self visible or public posting with AI assistance. When you can’t release and confide your feeling, you might ask the teacher to help you through the online counseling.

Voice Changer
‘Let the lalopathies speak well’ was the biggest vision of the VoiceChanger team. The speakers explained the five clinical manifestations of lalopathies and compared the pain points of the Chinese speech correction industry, showing how urgent we need an appearance of a professional speech correction team in China.
The VoiceChanger mainly helped the lalopathies from 3 aspects, and allocated professional voice correctors. The corrector team composed of students graduated from broadcasting and hosting major in colleges and universities. Only if after filtering and training could they help the lalopathies carry out rehabilitation exercises.They hoped to use Internet technology and innovative thinking to break the current situation of low-performance services in the existing industry.

Xiaoxintong
When we enjoyed the convenience brought by the mobile Internet, a group of people worrying about it-the elderly. How to link the needs of the elderly with the service companies had become the pain point of the current pension service market. The Xiaoxintong team was aiming to solve this problem. By building a platform and serving the elderly team from five aspects, the leader of the team hoped to satisfy his desire that there was a terminal covering all basic pain points of home pension, and implemented the filial morality-the excellent traditional Chinese virtues.
