On July 1st, the Innospace division of the semifinal of the 2019 4th Shanghai Yangpu Star of Startups global contest was successfully ended.
With the continuous alternation of technology and improvement of national standard of living, new technology represented by artificial intelligence, new concept represented by consumption upgrade are becoming the most important innovation and entrepreneurship in recent years. Under the current trend of consumption upgrade brought by technology innovation and material-to-service transformation, a numerous number of startup projects of relevant field burst onto the scene.
To meet the demand the current market deeply, the Innospace division of the Yangpu Star of Startups contest focusing on life and consumption upgrade began on July 1st, attracting innovative startup projects from sub classified industries competing together. The 5 juries are senior venture capital investors from Lighter Capital, Baichen Fund, Guanhe Assets, 3H Internet and Futak Investment in this division.

Tea is one of the most popular consumption upgrade category in recent years. With the concept of Chinese-style tea being popular gradually, startups rolled into this field in large quantities. On the competition day, the startup team of current popular tea brand LELECHA also came to the scene to share the development path from the establishment to the well-known new tea brand. The team said Yangpu Startup Star Contest is an international event, hoping through this competition, brand endorsement will be enhanced and the brand will be better in the future.
In addition to the mature startup projects like LELECHA, we also greeted the post-2000 young entrepreneurs. Despite the young age, they were not immature in entrepreneurship at all and won successive praises from the jury. Entrepreneurs from various industries and the Harvard University were competing on the same stage, pushing the contest to the climax.

Some of the jury claimed that projects in this contest involving plenty of industries and tend to be mature, most of the entrepreneurs were with rich entrepreneurial experiences and oversea study background, which turned into their unique competitive advantages in the industry. The jury also approved their great optimism about the future development of the participating projects.

But the pace of innovation and entrepreneurship did not stop, the semifinal of the contest was still in progress. On July 4th, the comprehensive session would be launched at the National Science Park of University of Shanghai Science and Technology.
