Yangpu Star of Start-ups Global Contest Silicon Valley Divis

On June 29th, US time, the 4th Shanghai Yangpu Star of Start-ups Global Contest Silicon Valley Division in 2019 officially kicked off at the Li Ka Shing Center, School of Medicine, Stanford University.

Following the successful launch of Yangpu Star of Start-ups Global Contest in Toronto and Vancouver Division, on June 29th, US time, Silicon Valley opened a new round of fierce overseas competition at the Li Ka Shing Center, School of Medicine, Stanford University.
 
Silicon Valley is a paradise for dreamers. The story of becoming a billionaire from scratch here tells every day. The most important and freshest blood comes from these startups. This is not only the concentration of high-tech talents, but of the talents in the information industry. This sub-division gathered a large number of high-quality entrepreneurial projects that were at the forefront of science and technology, covering biomedicine, artificial intelligence, big data and many other fields.

To fully guarantee the fairness, fairness and openness of the review mechanism, the division invited senior experts from well-known capital institutions and enterprises in Silicon Valley to serve as judges. Wei Wu, Director of BOE Venture; Michael Zhong, General Manager and Angel Investor of TechCode Accelerator; David Herbst, Partner and Angel Investor Manatt, Phelps & Philips, LLP; Steven Xi, Managing Partner of Eastlink Capital; Dongxue Wang, North America Regional Leader and US Silicon Valley investment consultant of Home Valley.

 
 
 
Contestants from all walks of life put the road show in the best state, showing the entrepreneurial projects to on-site judges from the aspects of project technology, business model, market development, team building and financial situation. Many entrepreneurial projects were unanimously recognized by the judges.
 
As we all know, huge economic losses were caused by cow mastitis in the world, such as the decline in milk production, the lower milk quality, and the increase in the cost of treatment. While entrepreneurs had developed and produced milk optical analyzer that can increase milk production and profitability. Another example was to against diseases such as canine autoimmune diseases, the production of naked antibodies and various types of antibody treatment drugs to improve the healthy lives of pets and humans was introduced by entrepreneur.

 


 
The judges made a lot of remarks, made questions and comments, and put forward feasible suggestions and guidance for some problems in the project to entrepreneurs on the spot. In the end, six outstanding entrepreneurial projects stood out from the Silicon Valley division and won the admission to attend the 4th Shanghai Yangpu Star of Start-ups Global Contest Finals in August, among which Flowpharma, LABBY and VisionX won the first, second and third prizes in the Silicon Valley.
 

 
The pace of innovation and entrepreneurship did not stop, and the competition for the overseas division of Yangpu Star of Start-ups Global Contest was continuing. On July 26th, French time, the Paris division would be officially kicked off.
