On July 28th U.S. Time, Homevalley successfully organized the semi-final 2018 The Third Yangpu "Gobal Startup Competition" in Seattle after the first overseas semi-final in Silicon Valley on July 26th. At the beginning, Qiu Jian, founder of Homevalley, gave the opening speeches, welcomed judges, guests, and contestants, and appreciated the support from Pacific Technologies Consulting Group, Vestlink and North America China Council. Mr. Qiu said that Seattle is not only a vibrant but also an entrepreneurial city. Super unicorns such as Boeing, Microsoft, Amazon and Starbucks came from here. He believes this entrepreneurial city will successfully cooperate with "Global Startup Competition" in Seattle Division.

According to the competition rules, semi-final was held with project roadshow and on-site Q&As. Teams that participated in this semi-final were selected from previous intense competitions. During the semi-final, contestants presented with their best performance and judges actively discussed with contestants.

Judges in this semi-final were Li Zhaohui, general manager of CCCIC China-Canada Clean Teachnology Innovation Center, Du Shuang, Vestlink CEO, Ding Shengxiang, partner of Zenith Capital, Liu Bo, partner of Zhonghe Capital, and Qiu Jian, founder of Homevalley. After intense competition, 6 projects were qualified for the final competition. Among those projects, Wyzlink, Smart manufacturing cloud platform and CodeRecipe.ai won the first three prizes. In the award ceremony, the judges awarded winner teams with certificates.

Looking back to today's competition, some judges said that the entrepreneurs in Seattle have a strong Seattle label compared to Silicon Valley. And they were looking forward to more entrepreneurial projects in Seattle coming to Shanghai, China.
