STAR OF START-UPS GLOBAL CONTEST & ONLINE NEW ECONOMY CHALLENGE IN YANGPU 2021
In order to promote the construction of Yangpu's "Four High Districts", recruit talents for regional online new economy leading enterprises, and increase the "primary power" of enterprise innovation, the Star of Start-ups Global Contest & Online new Economy Challenge of Yangpu 2021 is opening.
Through the method of "introducing talents by competition", a group of high-level talents and teams with good development prospects, high technological content and strong driving ability are attracted to Yangpu for innovation and entrepreneurship with high-quality projects.
The contest focuses on key areas such as hard & Core technology, medical care, and new economy as entrepreneurial tracks. It has been fully optimized and upgraded from the areas of contest division, innovative track, rewards and support, and evaluation mechanism, and strives to attract more high-quality projects at home and abroad to Yangpu for further development.

Contest Time：July 2021 – Nov. 2021
Contest Divisions:
Three major contest divisions: Overseas Group, Domestic Group, and Regional Group.
The Overseas Group consists of four overseas competition areas: Silicon Valley in the United States, Toronto in Canada, London in the United Kingdom, and Japan & South Korea.
The Domestic Group consists of four competition areas: Hangzhou in Zhejiang, Suzhou in Jiangsu, Wuhan in Hubei, and other domestic regional divisions.
The Regional Group consists of five sub-fields, namely INOSAPCE, Tongji Science and Technology Park, Fudan Science and Technology Park, Cloud Base, and Fuke China, which are divided into 6 major industry competitions, including new materials, new energy and energy conservation & environmental protection, biomedicine and life & health, new generation information technology, cultural creativity and modern service, and comprehensive category.
Contest Tracks:
The competition focuses on key areas such as online new economy, hard & core technology, medical and health, new consumption, modern services, new materials and new energy, and is divided into overseas groups, domestic groups and regional groups to carry out the selection of entrepreneurial projects.
Contestant:
· Overseas Group:
(1) The applicant should be an overseas master's degree or above (a bachelor degree is acceptable for entrepreneurial talents in modern service industry or cultural creativity industry), or Chinese who have overseas visiting scholars, post-doctoral research experience, or have worked in entrepreneurial projects in internationally renowned companies in the same industry with senior management of R&D positions;
(2) The applicant should have more than 2 years of entrepreneurial or working experience;
(3) The applicant should be the main founder of the declared project, the team has innovative ability and high growth potential, and has independent intellectual property rights (no intellectual property disputes).
· Domestic Group
(1) The applicant should be the main founder of the project, who has obtained a master's degree or above in domestic, or has served in a well-known enterprise in the same industry as an entrepreneurial project for a long time;
(2) The team has innovative capabilities and high growth potential, and has independent intellectual property rights (no intellectual property disputes).
· Regional Group
(1) The applicant should have a bachelor’s degree or above, have a middle-level or above experience in a well-known leading company in the same industry as the entrepreneurial project, have innovative capabilities and high growth potential, and have independent legal intellectual property rights (no intellectual property disputes);
(2) The company created by the applicant has been established in Yangpu for less than 5 years after actual operation; (after January 1, 2016)
(3) The registered capital of the enterprise created by the applicant shall not be less than 1 million yuan, and the applicant shall be the legal representative of the enterprise, and the actual paid-in capital invested by the individual shall not be less than 300,000 yuan, and the equity held shall not be less than 30%.

Contest Awards:
Bonus:
Start-ups Star Award: ￥500,000 in bonus
Start-ups Elite Award: ￥200,000 in bonus
Start-ups New Talent Award: ￥150,000 in bonus
Excellent Start-ups Award: ￥50,000 in bonus
Outstanding Organization Award and Bole Award：
For the science parks and incubator recommended projects in the region of Yangpu, which have received a total of more than 500,000 yuan in bonuses, the district team will award the Outstanding Organization Award and ￥50,000 yuan respectively.
If the domestic and overseas recommended projects have received a cumulative bonus of more than 200,000 yuan, the Bole Award will be awarded after the successful implementation of the project and a 10% bonus will be given; if the recommended project has received a cumulative bonus of more than 500,000 yuan, the Bole Award will be awarded after the successful landing of the project and 200,000 yuan will be given.
Entrepreneurship start-up funding and other support:
The top 10 projects in the competition which are also qualified for the Yangpu 3310 project will be registered in Yangpu within 6 months after the end of the competition. Those who meet the conditions will be directly recognized as Yangpu Talent Attracting Program enterprises without review, and will be given corresponding guidance funds, office housing subsidies, and bank loan interest discounts and market financing subsidies. It can also be supported by a credit line of 1 million yuan for unsecured credit loan talent loans from relevant cooperative banks, and connect with investment funds with a total scale of 1 billion yuan.
Entrepreneurship service package support:
Winners of the Entrepreneurship Star Award, Entrepreneur Elite Award and Entrepreneurship New Talent Award in each division will also receive ￥100,000, ￥50,000 and ￥30,000 entrepreneurial service packages respectively. The content includes: office workstations, investment docking, high-end entrepreneurial mentor services, corporate consulting services, recruitment services, entrepreneurship training camp quotas, project application consulting, configuration entrepreneurial assistant services, etc.
